Life changing, life saving

I discovered this podcast accidentally whilst searching for help following 17 years of marriage to a financial abuser and stonewaller. 7 years post leaving him, I am still searching for answers. No one understood. No one had the specialism to help me. I didn’t understand it myself. I had no words to express what had happened to me. I finally got out, but with 3 children, the financial control continues. The interviews, and I’ve listened to them all, some repeatedly, have great advice and insight. Whilst every relationship is different, and mine had no physical violence, there are aspects to every interview that helps me to understand myself and the situation to enable me to heal the trauma. I love how eloquent Laura is, and how respectful she is to the interviewees, and how she dispels the shame women feel from being a victim.
