Remarkably Ghost Story, much like the 1937 male police officers and the Dancy family, are willing to accept a much more fantastical explanation of the untimely deaths of Dr John Dancy’s two wives, Dr Naomi and Mary, just because he said it were so, and in spite of the totality of the circumstantial evidence which told a very different story.
