Coercive controllers, stalkers and psychopaths often present as model prisoners and manipulate prison staff, offender managers and Parole Boards.
Currently they can be transferred up to 5 YEARS EARLY to an open prison and are able to come and go unsupervised.
They must NOT be transferred to Cat D prison early and must be rigorously risk assessed by professionals trained to identify coercive control and stalking related behaviours 🚩
