Today Brian Earl Johnston was sentenced to life for stabbing Kelly Wilkinson and setting her on fire in Queensland, Australia on April 20, 2021.
Two of the children witnessed the murder. Neighbours heard a woman screaming 'please stop' and then an explosion. In court, Johnston's defence lawyer tried to argue 'Poor Me Syndrome'
Johnston will not be eligible for parole until he's served at least 20 years.
