Ep 61: Preventing Murder in Slow Motion™: Fighting for Truth, Justice and Accountability with Manuel Fernandez, Bengi Stubbings and Celia Peachey, Part 4

In this episode Laura has a very raw and candid conversation with Manuel Fernandez, Maria’s brother, Bengi Stubbings Maria’s son and Celia Peachey, Maria’s daughter.

Manuel, Bengi and Celia share details about their battle for the truth and for accountability following Maria’s brutal murder due to the failures of Essex Police Service’s handling of the case. During this discussion Bengi had a trauma related response and so please be advised that this is not an easy listen – but it is an important conversation that we agreed to share.

Celia has been part of the successful campaign to stop abusive men going from one partner to another. Police, prison and probation services must proactively identify, assess and manage serial domestic abusers and stalkers and ensure that they are included on the same database as sex offenders. Latest Update About the Campaign https://www.change.org/p/priti-patel-focus-on-serial-perpetrators-and-stalkers-who-abuse-multiple-women/u/30033831
