72: The Crime Analyst | Ep 72 | The Murder of Gabby Petito, Part 1
In this episode, Laura profiles Gabby Petito’s case from a behavioural, investigative and preventative perspective.
Having watched the police body worn camera footage captured when Moab City Police attended a domestic violence call out, Laura saw signs of coercive control. Laura opined early on that this was a ‘murder in slow motion’ and unfortunately was proven right.
Across this investigative series Laura analyzes Gabby’s social media and breaks down what she saw on camera. Laura shares the lessons from Gabby’s case so that we are all better equipped at spotting the warning signs in the future. It might just save a life.
